AFRIMED PRESENTED AT THE “SAILING FOR BLUE LIFE”, 26-27 JUNE 2021 (ANCONA, ITALY)
On the occasion of the Sailing for Blue Life, 26 and 27 June 2021 in Ancona (Italy) , the AFRIMED project was presented at adult and children.
The eco-sustainable tourism and citizen science project Sailing for Blue Life presents itself on the occasion of the Doric leg of the cruise on a sailing boat that this summer will touch the Adriatic and Ionian shores and Sicilian.
Ecoreach and UNIVPM organized a snorkeling day at La Scalaccia, in Ancona to discover the macroalgae forests and the biodiversity associated with them. Aims, field activities and results of the AFRIMED project were presented to the participants, who were able to see the hard work behind a marine ecosystem restoration project.

Ecoreach together with the Polytechnic University of Marche team took part at the Sharper event – European Researchers’ Night, held in Piazza Roma in Ancona.
For the occasion, the AFRIMED project was presented and many activities were organized for children and adults.

We talked about the AFRIMED project, the vulnerability of coastal ecosystems but also the restoration and environmental sustainability during the event organized by FAI Giovani – Ancona, among the naturalistic beauties of Portonovo’s Bay, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Marche, EcoReach, and Marche Active Tourism

AFRIMED AT YOUR FUTURE FESTIVAL 2019, ANCONA, ITALY
Your Future Festival (YFF) was born with the aim of opening up to the cities in which the Polytechnic University of Marche operates and foster connections between faculties, students, researchers, the territory and social and economic systems. The event that takes place in workshops, discussions, reports and moments of entertainment wants to be a context of contamination between all the subjects with which the Polytechnic University of Marche interacts. Anticipate the future and imagine it. Here is the theme of this sixth edition of Your Future Festival “the future to imagine”.
For the occasion, the AFRIMED project was explained to elementary school students who visited, for the event, the laboratories of the Polytechnic University of Marche.
