The AFRIMED Advisory Board is composed by Prof Enrique Ballesteros (CSIC, Spain) and Prof Dania Abdul Malak (ETC-UMA, Spain) renowned external experts in fields related with the topics and expected results of AFRIMED, will act as a scientific auditing panel aimed at ensuring the best scientific direction and output of all desk and field activities of the project.

The Advisory Board will discuss the plans, progress and use of project results and recommend adjustment of the priorities of the project throughout the project cycle.

The Advisory Board will then make recommendations to the Steering Committee to maximise the impact of AFRIMED.
