The main objective of WP5 is to raise the awareness of different stakeholders to the loss of Mediterranean Marine forests, outline why they should be concerned and communicate the benefits of taking restorative action.

Stakeholders will be given the opportunity to discuss the needs and challenges of restoration in order to produce a shared vision and develop best practice guidelines for the various sectors.

Such interactions will produce a shared vision of the ecological restoration of marine forests and will allow:

• the identification of guidelines comprising the best practices for the specific reforestation of the Mediterranean Sea;
• the promotion of new local businesses linked to this activity in the involved countries.
